My concerns

When i first arrived at Adelaide House i had a number of feelings and concerns, like being anxious about the hostel, the people and the area it is in as i didnt know Liverpool. But when i arrived, my first impression was that it was nice, warm and clean. I was offered a drink and light snack and really made welcome. I still had feelings that made me keep myself to myself and i isolated myself to my bedroom. I didn't interact with the other residents, my communication skills were not great and i was unsure about group work. But with the encouragement of staff and 2 residents in particular, i am now settled, i interact alot more with the others and i dont mind the group work. I can now sit and associate with the other girls in the lounge and dont feel anxious or worried anymore.
